David (dassaf4) | 57 comments What a list! I'm currently enjoying the top two, sipping from each as I find the time. Five of the others are sprinkled throughout my TBR. I highly recommend the podcast "I Should Be Writing" on which Tor.com's book recommendation of the same name is based; in it, author and host Mur Lafferty has been inspiring writers and non-writers alike since 2005, which is ancient in podcast-years!

David, thanks for the podcast recommendation! I haven't read anything by Mur Lafferty yet, but I too, am a Lafferty, and by that alone I feel some sort of kinship responsibility to do so!

David (dassaf4) | 57 comments Well then, I must ask if you've heard of R.A. Lafferty. I had not until recently, after a friend pointed out this article in Wired: https://www.wired.com/story/who-is-r-... . And just like that, the Laffertys in my TBR doubled. :)

Ha ha, I have! That is the extent of my knowledge of writers named Lafferty though. ;-)
