Night Watch by T Pratchett

Cheryl (cherylllr) Super, thanks!

message 54: by Chris (new)

Chris Cosmain | 11 comments May we suggest one of our own novels?
I'd love some feedback on Novikov Windows from dedicated TT fans :-)

If not, The Peripheral by W Gibson is very cool.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Two more from a random list in a newsletter:

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

Night Watch by Terry Pratchett

message 57: by Deborah (new)

Deborah | 36 comments I loved Night Watch, of course I had read the previous books in the series before reading it. The other one sounds interesting too.

Chris Cosmain | 11 comments I'm considering purchasing "Before the Coffee Gets Cold" by
Toshikazu Kawaguchi.
Apologies if this has already been considered.

Otherwise (as mentioned in my post above), I would be most chuffed if people would consider Novikov Windows. :-)

Lizz Taylor | 218 comments I don't have any suggestions but I also loved Before the Coffee Gets Cold. I don't recall reading Night Watch but do enjoy Terry Pratchett. I am good with anything though as long as I can find a copy in the library.

Cheryl (cherylllr) We have read Before the Coffee gets Cold in the group. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/..., three years ago. Thread is always open! :)

I've read some Pratchett; I get the impression most can be read as a stand alone. If a reader does get confused, there are all sorts of sources, like wikis and reddits, to help.

Michael Pickard | 7 comments Forward and Back It's probably tacky to recommend your own book, but what the heck.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Yes, I've given up trying to keep a single post master list, but fortunately goodreads has an equivalent feature higher on this page, over there ->

Is it self-published? The cover looks like it, and it's in none of my libraries. Maybe the author would like to contact Nancy and feature it as a giveaway.

It might be. I bought it as a Kindle book on Amazon.

has been mentioned in another thread, so I'm bumping it here.

message 69: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Happened to notice that GR's blog lists some current TT. I have not vetted these, but I will be investigating.

The Ministry of Time
The Seven Year Slip
The Other Valley
A Quantum Love Story
A Love Song for Ricki Wilde
Wrong Place Wrong Time
The Day Tripper

message 70: by Deborah (new)

Deborah | 36 comments I loved A Quantum Love Story, it was much better than I expected and I definitely recommend it.

Cheryl,
Is it okay to suggest some of my books for consideration for this list? I've been a member of this group for a while, but I haven't been active until recently. I have 4 completed Time Travel books and a 4-book series available on Amazon as ebooks and paperbacks.
Pardon me if this is an inappropriate question: I'm new at this and am pretty ignorant about the culture.
Cheers and Regards,
Kim

Rosalind Tate | 4 comments Hi Cheryl, I'll definitely look up your books! I'm a TT author too and I think its an overlooked genre! My series is The Shorten Chronicles. Rosalind Tate

message 74: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Rosalind, Kim is the other author.

I'm one of the moderators of this group and I'd prefer that you both use our promotional threads to talk about your books. Look around the group, and if you can't find them, send a PM to the other mod, Nancy, as she has been here longer and knows more about how to help you have success reaching out to TT readers here.

I'm very curious to start Elsewhere. Dean Koontz really, really struck gold with Lightning - that book drew me in like crazy the first time I picked it up.

message 78: by Glynn (new)

Glynn | 342 comments Not sure if this is where to put this. I just read about an upcoming time travel book which might be interesting. It's anticipated publishing date is in May of 2025. The book is The Memory Collectors by Dete Meserve

message 79: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Thank you; this is a great place for it!
