About the story:

Rinku Saxena is like any other teenager, with one exception. She’s got an over-the-top, superstitious, maxi-clad diffuser of overlapping shoes for a mom. Which is all well and good until the end of days is upon them. And it coincides with her school’s summer dance.

With her future with the boy next door at stake, can Rinku hoodwink her mom into letting her go to the school dance and keep her date with destiny?
