SOLVED. YA Romance. Wattpad story where girl helps boy hide in rich family's shed from his abusive father and they eventually fall in love. Read around early to mid 2010s. Spoilers ahead.

I remember a lot of details but I'm not sure whether or not it was published outside of Wattpad. It's set sometime in the past, like the 40s or something? I have no idea when, though. The main character is forced to live with her uncle (or someone like that) after her parents pass, I think. So she ends up finding a shed (that no one's allowed to be in) on the property where she meets a boy who's been living there secretly because of family/financial issues or something of that nature. I kind of have a strong feeling that her love interest's dad was still alive and was abusive, but that could be wrong. The book takes place over the course of a few years, mostly in their teens. Most of their scenes at the property are just hanging out in the shed or by the pond. They fall in love within that time and end up together by the end, even though her maybe uncle's been trying to set her up with another relative who she either actually isn't related to and doesn't now it or the complete opposite. I don't remember why it benefitted him to do that, probably inheritance reasons. It was also a plot point that the love interest got a job somewhere and there was an adult there who kind of became a second father to him? This story sounds so crazy after explaining it but I remember liking it a lot and am curious to see how it holds up now.
