"maths" is just another way of saying "math" ("maths" is often said in countries other than America, I think)

usually people not in america use that term more often

So in my English class we have this thing called "book talks"
Basically, It's where people can volunteer to do a presentation on a book. So, I decided that I was going to do a book talk, and that I was going to do it on The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.
So, I signed up the day before I gave the book talk, and I was underprepared with my slideshow :( so...
When I was presenting the book talk, I was so nervous...I was shaking. I did a decent job, considering the amount of preparation that I had done. Though, I stumbled over words, and had to correct myself...
Anyways, I wish that I had done better, since I love The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo so much. But, a girl who was in my english class, came up to me in art class, and asked me for the title of the book (bc she had forgotten it) so MAYBE I convinced someone to read the book <3
...
Anyways, I did already give a book talk. But I want to do one, better.
And try to have better slides, explanation, and confidence.
So I'm hoping that I can do one later in the school year
I already have some books in mind for it :)
