i thin kthat after we get to know Anden a bit more, i think that i'm on the fence a bit at times as well. i still overall think that June and Day are suited for one another and i'm sad about how the story takes them around and around, but i think that they are the match.
I feel like Anden is the good guy and that after we get past the first meeting and first bit of his and June's relationship we find that he's truly decent. I like where the epilogue took him though, i think that it was great that there was a real and fair shot there - even if it didn't work out.

WHAT?!
DAY ALL THE WAY. ANDEN DOES NOT AND WILL NEVER COMPARE. NO.

Day. June and Day understnd each other because of the losses each of them have faced. They have been through a lot together and yet their love has survived. That is proof that Day and June are meant to be.
I have to admit I agree with you. I was hoping for June to end up with Anden all along. I simply thought he had more chemistry with June than Day did.
While Anden is a great love interest, Day and June have been through too much together to just quit. While I was reading the book, I almost felt a sense of urgency that they HAD to be together.
I read the end and June ends up with Day. But I really, really, liked Anden. But she does date him for a few years
