Here are my rates for a 1 month timeframe for novels 90k and under based upon what type of reading you want done:
1. The basic Beta Reading Package: Commentary on the quality and readability -$175
2.Beta Reading + Suggested reading + occasional line reading suggestions: Traditional commentary on the quality, likability, readability and content. Suggested reading to fine-tune language, characterization, context, etc. Occasional line editing to help develop stronger language, better writing skills, and what language mistakes to avoid. -$255
3.Developmental edits + Line reading edits : Developmental editing constraints a thorough and in-depth review of your entire manuscript that extends to plot, characterization, setting, secondary characters,etc. Line edits with explanations as to why the stylistic choice should change. Development of reliable prose based on subjective and interpretive content specializing in style, tone, consistency, and reading level.- $345
