Welcome! I love The Perks of Being a Wallflower!

I just really loved Charlie's journey through high school and the mental health representation.

Hello Lisa! I'm trying to learn the guitar, but its a bit difficult. At least I can read the tab thingies!

I related to Charlie on such a personal level. I have a lot of social anxiety like Charlie so I just felt a bond with him. If he could find his crew then I knew that I would find mine too. I also really loved his story and his growth throughout the years.
I also watched the movie and that truly solidified my love for the book. it was almost perfect to the book with an amazing soundtrack. I highly recommend re-reading it but I totally understand if it's not your cup of tea.

I love love LOVE historical fiction. What is your favorite time period to read about?

I first got into historical fiction reading in 5th grade when I read "Between Shades of Grey". I became obsessed with books around WWII. Recently though I've been super into medieval times, like the 1300-1500 and so forth. I love Queens, Kings, Dukes, marquess's, phesants and everything in between. I love reading into old cultures like the Irish, Japanese, German, and English. Honestly I like most of it lol! What's your favorite time period to read about?

Welcome, Bethany!

We are going to get along so well! I love reading anything WWII. I also enjoy the medieval time period as well. I also very much enjoy reading about Russian royalty. I especially like reading about the Romanovs and Catherine the Great.

YESSSS!! I've been wanting to read more about the Romanovs!! You have to give me some recommendations!! They're story is so interesting. Although I haven't read about them in awhile and I don't know much. I would love to learn more!

Of course! I will def look through my collection and see if I can't find you one. I recently picked up a book about the Romanov sisters. I haven't started it yet but it sounds so good!

some of my favourites include:
Illuminae
Ready Player One
The Hunger Games
The Shatter Me series
ACOTAR
The Selection Series
Six of Crows Duology
A Curse so Dark and Lonely
any Kasie West or Jenn Bennett Books
:)

Hello there and welcome! That was the reason I joined this group as well.
I enjoyed Ready Player One. Have you read the sequel to it yet?

Welcome Stef! I love The Hunger Games trilogy, Six of Crows duology, The Selection series, and A Curse so Dark and Lonely!
