I'm continuing my reread of the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, I'm at book 3 now. I'll see what I read after I finish this one.

Enjoy Jess :)

Stacey (staceyissassy) I just finished my ARC of Tempting Fate by Kerrigan Byrne which I enjoyed. I'm now reading When He’s Dark by Suzanne Wright which is Paranormal and really good so far.

I'm currently re-reading/listening to Fall by Kristen Callihan. I love this series. :-)

So I am reading Heiress In Red Silk by Madeline Hunter and then just started Cursed Luck by Kelley Armstrong as it came out today but as I am 2 hours behind midnight in Australia I got it as I got into bed hahaha Thankfully I managed to put it down to get some sleep! ha!

Welcome, Jess! There's a whole world of Regency romance out there for you! If you're enjoying Julia Quinn you can't go wrong with Eloisa James or Tessa Dare imo.

Ilaine Newby (ilainen) | 45 comments I just finished Hot Blooded by Lisa Jackson and now I have picked up my Celebrity in Death book by J.D. Robb. Will probably read the May group book.

I have been reading a lot of books that I couldn’t bring myself to read a few months ago when I was doing. Comfort rereading. Madeline Hunters Heiress in Red Silk, Lois McMaster Bujold Physicians of Vilnius, Aaronovitch What Abigail did that summer, Kingfisher Paladin’s Strength which wasn’t as fun as Paladin’s Grace but still worth it, also some Sharon Shinn rereads.

Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) Thanks ladies, I can't wait to read more from other authors but I'm a little worried that I've hit the jackpot with this series and may struggle with others so please I'm hoping you can hold my hand and push me through as I'm really glad I've tried something new!!! lol

Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) Hello ladies , I need some help what should I read after The Bridgerton series??? I've two books to go and I need to get on Amazon before it feels I've abandoned it, haha

Leigh-Ayn | 1214 comments Tessa Dare is my favourite!
The Duchess Deal!

message 17: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (staceyissassy) Hey Jess, I would seriously consider Lisa Kleypas and her Wallflowers series, starting with - Secrets of a Summer Night. I love the series and I've enjoyed all of her historical romances. :-)

message 18: by Jess☺️ (new)

Jess☺️ (jessicas1984) Thankyou for the recommendations.

There are a lot of other wonderful books by Julia Quinn.

This page was founded by people who love Quinn and Eloísa James. You might start with Essex Sisters or Depserate Duchesses.

If you want historicals with a touch of humor I recommend Julie Anne Long’s Pennyroyal Green series.

And for amazing writing I am passionate about Joanna Bourne

Ilaine Newby (ilainen) | 45 comments I am also reading I Heard God Laugh by Matthew Kelly. Thought I would throw in something inspirational while also reading about murder and mayhem. Haha!
