Good morning everybody. I am going to use this as an opportunity to shamelessly promote my book. I don't enjoy this, but as an indie author it is a necessary part of the job. This will also be the last time I make a post regarding this book on this page, as the last thing I want to do is annoy the hell out of you guys.

The novel comes out 4 May and I believe it is about as transgressive as a novel can get. One thing it is not is offensive just for the sake of shock value, I find that kind of storytelling cheap and it certainly isn't what I was aiming for. Having said that, it certainly isn't for everyone. I am upfront that the content of this book goes to dark and uncomfortable places.

Views on the book are all over the place. Some early beta readers were pretty revolted by it. I am proud to say it has received "mostly" positive responses from readers. Having said that, trying to convince bloggers and book reviewers to read a book that features Incels and school shootings and all types of dark and depraved characters is an extremely difficult sell. I hope as many people as possible read this book and take something away from it. I am happy to hear negative reviews and opinions, I'm not fishing for compliments or flattery.

I think the book has a lot to say about Americans, American society, their values, and what makes America such a uniquely violent and often infantile country. I don't think this book could be set anywhere but in the United States.

I am happy to answer any questions and offer apologies to anyone I've annoyed or pissed off.
