I got 'Q' Planning to read The priory of the orange tree by Samantha Shannon. But it will cost me some time (over 800 pages) so I will do another prompt too simultaneously. (just 1 prompt so that I could read 2 books) I believe that's alright.

So I got 17 for which I have to read a book over 60 chaps. I am contemplating between the two options I have. So I spun second time to do second prompt parallely. I got 26 which is to read a book with pencil/pen/paint brushes on it's cover and I have no idea what to pick for it. Any recommendations??
Rushali if you haven't read Red, White and Royal Blue, it has MC named Alex. It's a really fun book.

Hey! I read Perks of Being a Wallflower, which all my friends told me was Lgbt book.. but now I have read it, there was only lgbt rep (a main side character was gay) but other than that the book itself wasn't lgbt..does that count?

No, the prompt says an LGBTQ book so I think it shouldn't count.
That means I would have to redo my prompt?
Also.. I searched up on web as well as lgbt books list on GoodReads.. the book is on both shelves
Hey I think Perks of being a wallflower should be considered a contender for lgbtq. Even though the main character Charlie isn't gay, his closest best friend is. And it does highlight the shame associated with being gay and how he struggles to come out. There are multiple themes covered in the book, out of which this was one of it. And as Mia mentions it does fall in the lgbtq+ list. I think she should get the points. :)

Hey! I got C - book published under pen name. I have to read Pride and prejudice as I already made prior commitments in another group and I think this would fit the prompt too, as Jane Austen published all her work under a pseudonym. I WON'T be counting the buddy read but it's still ok if I use this book?
