Would European Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman count as a roadtrip? I'm not sure about the specific type of travel across Europe but it's set around the 1900s so I'm assuming mostly train?

If the majority of the book is focused on their travel/journey (and the hijinks mostly ensue along the journey instead of the destinations), it would count. The mode of transportation doesn't really matter—it's the focus on the journey itself.

The blurb isn't super clear, just says that they are jetting across Europe. If it turns out that it's not quite as roadtrippy as you were thinking, I'm sure you could find another prompt that would work :)

Count as one since you are reading one physical book.

I technically started Lies of Locke Lamora earlier this year but never got far or finished. If I were to start from the beginning in July for the group read, could I count it towards this?

If you started it this month, it will count as a group read even if it takes you a little into July to finish it.
