Greg is Back! This diary/journal takes the reader though Greg day to day activities and things are crazier than ever! Greg and Rowley go though Greg explaining what his childhood was like and how Manny is doing childhood now, Where Greg’s family goes for dinner, How his Uncle Gary is living in his house, how ballroom dancing went at school, how the private eye business went, how Greg was going to get Rowley to win the presidential election, how the toilet paper pandemic went, the pantsed problem, how babysitting Wesley went. Did I forget to mention the Valentine’s Day Dance, well. Greg and Rowley have to go through Candy Grams, figure out who is dating who, try a ask the girl who is Greg’s biology partner, a wingman thing, prank messages, a black leather jacket, trying to ask a girl who brother scares Manny, get a limo driver who isn’t Greg’s mom, get Abigail, deal with Rowley’s chicken pox, grab a vacuum cleaner, Spriggo’s, a tie and eating issue, expensive food, feeling like a third wheel even though it’s your date, girl problems, senior meetings, music shut off, chocolate fountains, pantsing, break ups, Rubies, pimples and chicken pox all over again.
I love this book because the things that Greg goes though before and after the dance, is probably what every middle schooler goes though if they decide to go to the dance. Some of the things that Greg goes though with Rowley are very funny at some points and very relatable. I think its funny went the kids get pantsed at school though that could just be me. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
