Question about creating separate author account

I've got a question I can't figure out the answer to. My brother (Timothy Dalton) recently published a book and I helped him set up/convert his Goodreads account to reflect that he's a now Goodreads author. Upon further thought, however, we might prefer that he have a separate account for being an author and just use the other one as a general user/reader. The problem is that I've already connected his 'author' status to his book. How easily (if at all) can I split it off into a separate account?

This is not something librarians can assist you with. You will need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or author issues outside of fixing book or author listings on Goodreads itself.
Oh, OK - so this wouldn't fall under fixing an author listing then? I'm a librarian but have only made minor changes here and there; I thought there might be some more functionality I wasn't aware of.
Librarians can edit unclaimed author profiles. They cannot edit claimed profiles, and they certainly cannot link or unlink a user profile and an author profile.
Have an author who needs help. She has a regular profile but has published books on amazonThey are not on her profile but on another authors profile
If anyone can assist? or give me a link for her to get help
Thank You
This profile
https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1...
But these are her books
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
under another profile that is not her
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
What is the link for her to get author page assistance?
I moved her books to a new author profile here: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... If she wishes to claim the author profile there is a link at the bottom of that page ("Is this you? Let us know.") I think she will have to use the name Elaine May, not Lianne, and both those profiles will be merged. Her Elaine May profile uses 2 spaces between the names to differentiate from the other author with same name, so if she is adding more books and inserts an extra space (Elaine^^May) the books will go to the right profile. Or a librarian can always move them.
