I'm looking for an author that wrote several books about a stay at home mom living in Los Angelos in an old Hollywood house. Her husband was a movie writer I think. The books were written in either late 90s or early 2000s I think.

The author was married to a relatively well known high brow author, and she caused some controversy several years ago because she said if she had to pick between her husband and her kids she would pick her husband. I think her first name was Aisnley or something similar.
