The thing about historical books is that it feels like all the women are either wives or prostitutes and can't be anything else. And this one is like that. I just.... (:. Don't be sexist. Finished (view spoiler)[ Ah I ended up really liking this. Kit and Percy turned out to be a couple of big softies! Very cute. I feel like I really got into it about 35% of the way through, then I was cruising.
I definitely predicted Rob being the heir/blackmailer as soon as he showed back up from the "dead", but it didn't really detract from the story that I guessed it! (hide spoiler)] Cute <3
