I legitimately wondered if you had a love/hate thing going with the middle 60% of the book. :) This one has been in my queue and is on the list to try to hit this year. Would help if a certain club picked it HINT HINT.

:)Hrm, my question is a little long winded. Maybe you can just ask him "Do you have a personal philosophy you are trying to express through The Warded Man, and does it have anything to do with Ayn Rand?" (with the caveat I've only read book 1 of the Demon Cycle so far)
Also, the Warded Man books hint that they take place in a distant future on our world. Is this the case? Was this inspired by Shadowrun's notion of magic suddenly reappearing in the world?

Oh oh I really want to know the answer to Trike's question. (Also, this is a good reminder to get stuck back into the series.)
