Has he seen any cool new tattoos from his books? Has he ever seen them randomly on the street?

I legitimately wondered if you had a love/hate thing going with the middle 60% of the book. :) This one has been in my queue and is on the list to try to hit this year. Would help if a certain club picked it HINT HINT.

What was the last book you read outside of your own genre that you found particularly enjoyable?
Also, the Warded Man books hint that they take place in a distant future on our world. Is this the case? Was this inspired by Shadowrun's notion of magic suddenly reappearing in the world?
Oh oh I really want to know the answer to Trike's question. (Also, this is a good reminder to get stuck back into the series.)
Is there a significance that I might have missed to the number of sides to each die in an Alagai Hora set?
