Kristin (kbooks13) A few days ago I bought "Fairest" by Marissa Meyer. I reached page 204 and was shocked to find that was supposed to be page 205 was labelled and repeated page 157. And then I realized from there until the end of the book was a repeat of pages 157-188 (all the way to the end of the book).

So basically the book cuts off mid sentence on page 204 and restarts the story from the beginning on what is supposed to be page 205 (but is in fact 157) and ends on page 188.

What do I do? I looked for contact info at Macteenbooks and couldn't find anything. Do I just return the book and hope for a corrected copy?

Thanks in advance!

Brandy I had similar but with audio book they gave me 2 disc 4's and no disc 3. I was able to track down the audio publisher and they sent me the correct disc that was missing.
I would take it back to where you purchased the book. You shouldn't have a problem when you show them why you are making a return. Check the copy before leaving the store. My bet is you are not the only one that received a book like that.

Ciska I agree with Brandy, you need to take the book back to the store that you purchased it from. This should not be a problem as it is a fault with the binding of the book - not anything that you have done. I have had books like this in the past (I'm a librarian - so purchase a lot of books) and have had no problems returning and receiving a replacement copy.
