I don’t remember the year I read this book but I think it might’ve been 2011/2012 ish (though I got it from a library). I think it was a YA book and I think it had two short stories in it but I only read the first one. Idk what year it came out but I think the main character talked to another character over the phone in the car at one point so maybe it’s from the 2000s or so.
The book was also in English.

The plot was about a woman who was about to get married and her grandmother was afraid of mirrors so she cover up the mirrors at the wedding. Her grandmother also had a mirror in her house that was covered with a sheet which she had told the main character to never look into the mirror. On the day of her wedding, the main character disregarded the warning and uncovered the mirror to she herself in her wedding dress. Her reflection then pulled her in and took her place. The main character was unable to get out of the mirror. The main characters fiancé was suspicious of the reflection at first but when he said “I love you, hippo” and the reflection replied back “I love you, monkey” (the fiancé always did this as a couple thing and the reflection remember because she had seen the main character say it through the car rear view mirror) so the fiancé thought it really was her. The grandmother had discovered what had happened and came to the main character in the mirror to apologize and to tell her she hadn’t been able to stop the wedding and that the reflection and fiancé had gone on honeymoon. She promised to help the main character get out and called a man to come “fix” the mirror. When he came, he was bewildered as to why the reflection in the mirror showed a woman. The main character then pulled the man into the mirror so he’d take her place.
