Siege came across a poem by Czesław Miłosz that she liked so much she tracked down "A Book of Luminous Things, an anthology of poetry he edited. "When I started reading, I really appreciated what Miłosz had to say about the poems, why he'd included them, and how they related to each section of the anthology." But as she read on and got to know Miłosz better, her opinion changed. Read the full review here.

The more I read Alice Hoffman, the more I question my younger self for loving her work : /

Raven Black (blackraven6913) | 198 comments I found don't reread the books you loved as a kid. You find all sorts of flaws. I usually though get saturated with a favorite author as all the books start to repeat themselves/are more of the same. So they stop being favorites (Sarah Dessen, sorry). But I did grow to appreciate Walter Dean Myers more I read. Yet, I did also feel he had similar books after awhile.
