Not sure I completely understand what you mean. If someone emails me to request adding a new book, not already on the list, to the r4r program, I'll update the master list with their title and consider it already confirmed.
If someone emails me to confirm a title already on the list, I will berate them for not following proper procedure in the most condensending tone my emoticons allow ;) and then update the master list to confirm their title.
Did either of those answer what you were getting at?

When I send out the notice that a book is up for R4R, you'll post your email and preffered format in the thread for that title. The author will be responsible for sending you a copy of the book

There are some separate posts that explain the full read for review program. They give the full details except the two changes listed above.
There are some separate posts that explain the full read for review program. They give the full details except the two changes listed above.
First, I am going to post another thread with the current list of titles and authors I have submitted for the read for review program. If you are an author that submitted your title and still want to participate in the read for review, please go to the thread and add a message like "Title by Joe Bob Briggs- Participation Confirmed, xx copies, mobi/epub/pdf/format". I will then update the original post to annotate your participation. I will post a R4R thread for the first "confirmed" title next monday (9 Feb) or earlier if the first author on the list confirms prior to that date. After that, I will post a new thread for the next "confirmed" title on the list on a weekly basis.
Second, distribution of books to reviewers will now be the responsibility of the author and the reviewer. I will post notices and emails as previously, but the notices will be modified to direct reviewers to post an email address and format requested in the title discussion thread. Once the reviewer posts their email, it will be the authors responsibility to coordinate and deliver the title to the reviewer. I will no longer serve as the immediary. Hopefully this will speed up delivery of books to readers.
All other requirements of the program remain the same. Reviewers are still required to post their review within 3 weeks of receiving the book including a link in the title thread in the Zombies group.
AUTHORS-be advised that only about 50% of reviewers actually post reviews. If you have an issue with someone not posting a review, let me know their name.
REVIEWERS- if I am notified by three separate authors that you have received a book and failed to post a review (without proper coordination/justification with the author, we understand life happens), you will be expelled and blocked from the Zombies! group. THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING.
"New" author participates. If you want to have your book added to the program, message me separately and I will add your title to the master "confirmed" list in the main title listing thread.
Hopefully this makes sense to everyone and we'll be able to get this program running again. Feel free to message me or post questions in this thread. I'll do my best to answer them prompt-ish.
For authors that have previously submitted their titles, check out the master title listing and confirm your participation.
Good reading/reviewing.
