Becca, that's a good start, but we need much more information in the header/topic title at the top of the page. Many members only read the headers. We have thousands of YA book requests, so threads with vague headers are closed.
Copy the genre (e.g., romance for adults or teens=YA) and plot details from your message #1 to the header by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app.

What's the genre (which we need to add to the header) - e.g., For adults or teens? Contemporary romance, chick lit? How old is the heroine?
I added some details to the header. Feel free to edit it.

(It might be set in Seattle)
(She might live on a houseboat; or somebody does)
The book is written in the first person and there are like * and bullets within the story and down on the bottom of the page those * & bullets have notes/references.
She has a group of girlfriends who are ignoring her because they all had some fight over their list of rules. One which included you can’t date your friends ex or date the guy your friend has a crush on.
In one scene she works at the zoo or an aquarium & when her boss asks her to read about the animals the crowd is viewing, she’s flustered and stumbles because she sees her ex friend with the ex friend’s BF (who might also be her crush) in the crowd.
This book deff came out BEFORE, idk... 2005 Id say (for some type of reference).
Been tryin to find this book for eons, if it rings a bell PLEASE let me know.
