Rainbowheart | 28699 comments How old is the boy, a teenager or a younger child?

Was the book meant for kids, teens, or adults?

Rebecca Munn | 7 comments I’m sure the boy was maybe 11/12 years old and it was a book meant for teens I believe.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Shades of Simon Gray ?

Do you remember the cover?
Part of a series?
Time period/location story takes place?
Were there any fantasy elements in the book?

What country were you in when you read this book?

Rebecca Munn | 7 comments I think the cover was white black and red. I’m sure there was a cliff on it but I could be wrong. It wasn’t set in a particular time period but if I was to guess if probably say 90s? No fantasy elements. The main story was that he had been in a car accident and was in a coma. He had split personality and one of his personalities was quite sinister and keeping him in the coma, making him hate his parents and blaming a sibling I think. I’m from the UK and read this for my Higher English qualification in 2011.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5548 comments Was it the SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) Higher English? You should be able to find a list of set texts used for the qualification in 2011, or the book might even still be a current text.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5548 comments You can find past papers on the SQA website, here: https://www.sqa.org.uk/pastpapers/fin...

Rebecca Munn | 7 comments Thanks Becka. It was a text that I chose from a collection my teacher had so I will check there! Thank you!

Rebecca Munn | 7 comments I can only find lists for books used in the exam by the full class. This was a book I chose for a personal study I believe it was called. No idea where I’d find approved books for that!
