Thank you for this opportunity, but I won’t be participating in the next round. I decided to do this as I thought it would be a good experience. However, it has turned out to be anything but. The books I was given to read were out of my wheelhouse and I struggled to write reviews. However, my friend, Trish reminded me that we were writing reviews for readers. So, after thinking about it, I was able to come up with something. But I felt very inadequate. And then when I saw the range of my reviews, I realized that others have the same issue. While 2 of the reviews were fine, the others seemed to be criticizing the story as authors, not readers. One of the reviews was just petty and mean-spirited, and definitely not written by someone who reads my genre on a regular basis. If she hated it so much, I wish she would have just walked away. I’d been told to watch for the nasty trolls on Goodreads, I just didn’t realize I’d find them in my reading group. So, all in all, I came away from the experience feeling inadequate as both a reader and a writer. I wish all of you luck.

I had some issues with finding books and writing reviews. The novel can't be find under Gita's page (at least not for my user). I was able to find it searching by title, and there were a lot pages in the result search). Then I could not insert the review until today. I have no idea why.
