Children’s Fantasy book. Based on a group of kids in Norway in some sort of magical adventure/quest. Possibly read around 2011/2012

Hi i’m trying to find the name of a children’s book, I don’t remember much of it, I do remember it being based in Norway and one of the kids being named Rowena, i’m hoping this might help as it’s not a common name. I remember there being a fair or an event outside where the whole town attended and the kids went in to the woods and meet some magician/ wizard and it sets off from there. Sorry i don’t remember much of it, but i really want to find the name of it so any help it’s appreciated
