I've been using my *mind* to think about this one for days lol I've decided to nominate Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. It's a twisty story where most of the characters play mind games and you can never sure what is real or imagined in your own brain. :)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...Out of My Mind is my nomination. Any description I give will not compare to the Goodreads summary, but I highly encourage everyone to give it a quick read.
I nominate Adam Grant's Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don't Know". Think-->Use Your Mind
Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse. The protagonist has multiple mind issues.... thinking he might be half wolf.... depression.... other fantastical experiences that only occur within.
I'll nominate The Gendered Brain: The New Neuroscience That Shatters the Myth of the Female Brain dispelling the myths around 'male' and 'female' minds.
Think like a monk train your mind for Peace, minding frankie,
stranger things suspicious minds book 1
I nominate The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. A library is a perfect place to expand the horizons of your mind.

Meredith, you can only nominate one book for the group read, please let us know which one you choose.
I'd like to nominate Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, "a groundbreaking tour of the mind".

I will second Steppenwolf.
El wrote: "I'll second Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman."I second this. My husband is type 2 and I am type 1--this book looks very intriguing!
April is a Mind theme..... well I have to nominate Hidden Valley Road! OMG....it’s all about the mind. The Schizophrenic mind. A true story about a family that had 12 children and 6 were diagnosed with schizophrenia. Oprah interviewing the author and some of the surviving family members in June on Apple TV. This big was unbelievable. Nurture vs Nature.

Time to nominate for June is Mind.
~Please remember to state a connection to the theme when you nominate.
~Books we have read less than three years ago are not eligble. To see which books are not eligble, see this google sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
~ Each person can nominate 1 book.
~ Book must be available both as a physical copy and as an ebook.
~ Authors: Please do not nominate your own book.
~ Please do not nominate books that are part of a series, unless it is the first book.
~ You can second someone else's nomination, but that will count as your nomination.
This thread will be closed by April 26th, and we will choose ten books for the poll. If there are more than ten books nominated, we will choose "seconded" books first. If there is still a tie to get into the top ten, we'll go back to the Goodreads average rating to see which is highest.
