Kala and Jenny meet again about a year after our previous conversation to chat about books we've read lately, from presidential memoirs to romance to books that haven't had enough attention. We tackle backlogs and bookstacks along the way.

An insider note just to people in this group - my mic was absolutely on the fritz during this recording and Kala was too nice to tell me it still wasn't right when I thought I'd fixed it. So I went back and rerecorded most of my sections and tried to "act natural" but I'm not sure how successful I was. So if it sounds awkward or uneven there is a definite reason. I also think there was a massive time lag because when you hear me responding, I'm responding before she finishes talking in the audio but that's now how it happened in my ears. Ah well. 216 episodes, still making mistakes. ;)
