imma have to read this today. I want to know who you're talking about but at the same time I have to follow my work plan. isn't going well so far.
I'm going to try and stick to it as best as possible. i have the weekends solely for reading and writing. possibly catchup on work if needed.

So. I finished it.

What I liked:
> The horses
> The premise
> Ebony and Amber's friendship

What I didn't like:
> The characters. Maybe I would have liked them a bit more if we saw them develop a bit more, rather than just falling head over heels for each other when they only just met :( (I really despise instalove)
> The writing style. I don't want to be mean but it kinda felt like a twelve-year-old had written this....oopsies. It just wasn't my kinda style, but there were also basic errors that needed to be addressed
> The execution. This had a lot of potential but it fell flat for me
> The villain. Are we sure he was a villain? Didn't seem to do much to me.

Sorry Zaynab. I really wanted to like it for you, but it just isn't my thing. :(

i'm enjoying it a bit. it isn't the same as the first time. (it was the first fantasy-ish book I read so I was like 'oh my god! angels, wings, mythical beings').
honestly, I need to reread my 'favourites' and question why I ever considered them to be favourites.
also, Marianne follows me on Instagram so there is the possibility she'll see my reread review and I don't want to insult someone putting all of that work into a book...
