Hey everyone! I am delighted to announce that Kill List's publication date is tomorrow (March 24)!!I am thrilled to have been chosen for April BOTM. It is such a wonderful opportunity and I cannot thank you enough.
I can send free advance copies as PDF, mobi, or epub to anyone who wishes to read this new psychological thriller. Just let me know your preference and I will happily email a copy over to you.
The paperback will be available to buy on Amazon from tomorrow, if anyone would prefer a physical copy (£10).
I do have a number of limited edition signed books that come with a handmade Double Infinity bookmark. You'll understand the significance of the symbol once you start reading. I just wanted to add a special gift to the first orders. These can be ordered from me direct (£10 plus postage).
Anyway, Kill List is a dark concept and not to everyone's taste, but hopefully you will enjoy my disturbed mind. The advance reviews I've gained so far have been fantastic!

Vicki, now my question to you is how you came up with this storyline, for there are some things in this book that has actually happened in real time, ESPECIALLY the heels, BAMMM in the throat...
Also, the head female in this story, ( Emilia ) was this changed a bit from your real daughters name? I see its close in spelling.
If you want my honest opinion, I have been drugged . I didn’t endure what Emilia went through as I managed to get away but something sinister was about to happen. I’m sure you don’t really want to know the details. It just made me think how easy it is to spike someone. I’m not sure if any of you watched the TV series, Liar. Laura the main character is drugged and raped and the man in question continues to drug women with ease. It got me thinking. I also thought of a nice police officer waking up and knowing he’d done something bad but not being able to remember at first. It all weaved together from there. I put myself in Emilia’s shoes and thought I would want revenge. Emilia is a kind sweet primary school teacher. Yes, my sweet daughter is Emily and I came up with Emilia as it was just as innocent sounding. I could never use my daughter’s real name.
As for the shoe 👠, initially Hugh was killed in a different manner. She had climbed through his dog flap and waited for him to come home. She was glamorous and hoped Hugh would just think she was one of his many previous bedpost notches! She stabbed him in a frenzy. Ken, my Hollywood agent, said he’d like to see more unusual killing methods. So, I came up with the shoe 👠 and saw there was a real life stiletto murderer in America. The murder was then set in a good friends country estate next door! Honestly, his house is just as described with wicker bears and deers and he is always playing 60s classics on the terrace. (No bunga bunga parties though ha ha ha)

You didn't focus on Emilia's teaching the kiddies, I thought one of her students would have called her out on what she was by snooping. You know how these kids are...NOSEY
Well, if you people haven't read this yet, grab a copy! It's dark, sinister, but very clever and will suck you in from the beginning!
This book was amazing. I was definitely hooked before the first chapter! Emilia reminded me of a chameleon in a sense. She adapted herself to each situation of murder. In one sexy - she was very naive- not knowing what the real world could be like - but she found that she could be as ruthless and calculating as her nemesis!!

Remember Vicki, there will always be 1 small kid who is very smart...Kinda like that Sheldon kid on TV. There was just a few parts that pissed me off, She didn't listen to her father when she went in to kill, and sat in the chair, and hung out, nad the next thing you know, she was fighting,,she should have listened...
I finished the book Kill List and loved it!! It really brought up emotions that I didn’t know I had... what an awesome read. Just goes to show that anyone can be pushed to the breaking point!!
I just started reading Kill List and I have to say it is off to a roaring start!
I haven’t started it yet! I’m finishing my March reads as I just recovered from having Covid in March. I couldn’t read as I couldn’t focus. So glad I’m reading again but the OCD side says I must finish March...... so hard to fight that.
Starting Kill List tomorrow...just finishing up The Ninth House

I started the book and got about half way. This was a very rough read for me only because of how well written it is. I deeply feel for Emilia and her father. I understand they’re desire to hunt down these evil men and kill them, but unfortunately I cannot take that journey with them. This book is a little too dark for my taste. Very descriptive.. very graphic. Maybe one day I’ll be able to finish this gut wrencher but at this time, I cannot.

Oh my! I just started reading this. Wow what a ride so far! Yes I do enjoy a good revenge thriller. I think some of us do have a dream occasionally of getting revenge. Maybe it is just me but I can think of it and I’m good. Maybe because I read about it! Thank you Vicki for writing this! I’m glad I bought the physical book!!
Hi everyone, I’m sorry I’ve been quiet. We had a bereavement in the family and I was making arrangements. I don’t want you all to think I’m ignoring you. Needed time to read all your comments.I’m glad so many of you are enjoying it. Kill List may not be for everyone. When I was writing it, I asked early readers have I taken it too far? Their answers were no way! We love it! The Cipher players deserve what they have coming.
Maybe in places I was super dark but I wanted the culprits to endure what they were dishing out. I promise book four will be more psychological and less violent xx

Just finished Vicky Fitzgerald's Kill List! Please see the link below for my GR review. What a page turner! The urgency of the book is palpable. The exploration of the morality of revenge upon truly evil people makes the book compelling.

I guess because I'm a country girl, we don't tend to have cameras in the house. Even the Edwardian mansion where Emilia kills her first victim doesn't have any. But my friend who owns it is old fashioned. x

I actually asked my dad what he would do if I turned up on his doorstep covered in blood having killed someone. His face went ghastly pale and he didn't answer. I couldn't stop laughing. Then I informed him I wasn't planning on committing murder.
