Head's up, guys - I'm working on May's BOM poll and saw this isn't due to be released until April 27th. It was listed on GR's "Most Popular Books Published In March" list 🤨 Feel free to share your thoughts about the book at any time, as always 😊
I'm on the list to get it from the library too but will probably buy the audible. Steph wrote: "Head's up, guys - I'm working on May's BOM poll and saw this isn't due to be released until April 27th. It was listed on GR's "Most Popular Books Published In March" list 🤨

Yes I was thinking this was going to be more a May BOM. :-)
Yeah, either the release date changed or it was shelved incorrectly and I missed it. Either way, we've got a poll up now for our May BOM - this one excluded since we'll keep it as our April BOM.
So I was looking at the date again, as it is getting close, and noticed that this is the original format of under 200 pages. I actually liked those better but was hoping for more Murderbot too. Wells packs a lot into the short format all the same.Four more days
So came out today and I was offered the audio of it by two of my libraries where I had it on hold. I had already ordered it with a credit from Audible so might get the ebook to get the spelling of names when that is offered. I let the next from the library have it.This was my first purchase as my library(s) carry all the books but I decided to pony up for my 6th read. I couldn't bring myself to paid, $15.56 hard copy or $11.99 Kindle for a book that is 176 pages long. Looks like it is $15.30 for the Audible (maybe that is the Prime price or member price?). I used a $14.95 credit. I don't understand the pricing of this book. Network Effect, the only full size novel (352 paperback pages) was the same price as this one $11.99. Is it because it is so popular? But that makes it easier to get from the library too.
Well, I'm ready to start reading when anyone else is.
Ya got me, Amyiw. I cannot understand book/audio pricing at all. Comparing never works b/c some are "reasonable" while others (incl. some shorter books) are much more costly. Who knows? The publisher makes that decision, I guess. Hope you enjoy it!
Yeah, I was surprised at the cost of this audiobook too. The other ones were a lot cheaper (except for #5, which was a full fledged book).I still buy them because I'm a huge fan and I've re-listened each book 10+ times so I get a lot of out them. But even I thought a full credit for a 4 hr. audiobook was excessive.
