Two boys find bag or suitcase full of money in woods, have fun, face consequences

The two boys find a duffle bag or suitcase full of money in the woods - maybe 100k or so. They buy themselves things and trips to amusement parks. Eventually a bad guy comes after the money. A YA/Young Adult or children's book, read in school no latter than elementary school in the early to mid-90s. Basically a kids version of A Simple Plan.

It also sounds a little like Millions, but that was pubbed too late.

Are the boys teenagers or younger children?

[Brad]

It does sound very much like Millions, but I would have read it early to mid 90s and it takes place in the U.S. I believe the boys were 12-13. Both the same age.

If you imagine a Goosebumps book, but without any supernatural angle and a lot more down to earth. The bad guy was some sort of criminal - maybe a bank robber.
