Great job Andrea and Rita!
Just submitted our complete guess! Can hardly wait to see what we get :)

We received the answer to our third guess....no white!
We now know there are at least three colors. If we all read a book for red, and there are no reds, we will be able to eliminate another color. If there are reds, we will know that we are only working with three colors, and could eliminate the last location for red.
What do you all think?
After more consideration, I was thinking that since there can't be any more than three reds in total, perhaps three people should read a book for red and two should read a book for white.
Just wondering, why read more books for white? Is that just to see how many reds there are? If so, I'm cool with that. Let me look at my current book options and get back to you.
I have this one next up on my queue:
The main guy is Seth Walker.
The cover features a red t-shirt.
So my book can work for either color. Put me in for whichever color is needed.

We would be using white (knowing there are no whites and there can be no more than three reds) just to fill up the extra two spaces. In that way, we can either eliminate the color red altogether or be closer to knowing its location/locations. Does that make sense?
Sounds like a good idea! I have a feeling that there will be no reds, and if that's the case at least then we can eliminate it and figure out which of the other colors are in the code :)
I'll post a comment for us to put our color choices, just let me know what color you prefer and I'll put you in for it. :)

Yes, Rita, that makes sense. It's what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure I was understanding the logic correctly.Megan, put me in for whichever color is left at the end, since my book works for both. Thanks!
Added everyone's preference to the list.
I'll take red and will be reading
- main character is Tora Reynolds. Andrea, I put you down for WHITE, but if Kimberly prefers that color I'll switch you to RED since your book works for both colors. :)

Megan, is it okay for two of us to read the same book for this round? I hope so, but I can switch if I need to. I haven't had a chance to begin it yet.
Okay, cool. I didn't remember seeing that in the rules anywhere but thought I'd check. Glad I don't have to search for another book yet. Thanks, Rita! Was this the first of Melissa Tagg's books for you?
Rita, Melissa's other two books are amazing too. The first one was a bit slow to get going to me, but the second one was so good I didn't want it to be over! Hope you get a chance to read them.Megan, thank you! How are you enjoying your book?

I enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as I hoped, but it was still pretty good and I'll probably read the sequel sometime.

Sorry it didn't hold up to your expectations. Disappointing when that happens. Hopefully the next one will rise to the challenge.I'm three chapters (21%) into mine and enjoying it. Won't take me but a couple more evenings to finish it. Sorry if I'm holding up the guess this time. Maybe my work schedule won't be so time consuming next round.
I'm doing well and the team is just one book from being able to submit our guess! :) How are you doing, Kimberly?
I have several books that I am preparing to read, plus I can't stop smiling because my daughter, son-in-law and only grandchild are going to fly in from California to Ohio in April!! YAY!
Sorry to be a hold-up this time. I finally got done with my editing job and could catch up. I loved Three Little Words. Here's the link to my goodreads review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
So now we know that we have four colors, one of which is duplicated. I'm not sure what our strategy for the next guess should be. Should we go with one color (such as blue) or try and guess what the four colors could be with a color we know isn't in the code (white/red)?
I'm not sure. Here's what's on my reading list these days. Will one of these work for whichever color(s) we do next?
Do our books have to be fictional? I've got a few nonfiction titles listed here, as I'm sure you noticed.
I have at least one book that would work for each color so I would be fine with doing whatever. I was thinking it might be a good idea if we all read a book for the same color again. But I have no idea what color that should be! Orange?
Andrea wrote: "I'm not sure. Here's what's on my reading list these days. Will one of these work for whichever color(s) we do next?
[bookcover:Teen Mom: You R..."Andrea, I'm not sure yet what color the team will be doing, but From the Start should work for either yellow(cover) or green (main male character's last name) and Jennifer should work for Orange (main female character's last name) beyond that I'm not sure, but I hope this helps! :)
Kimberly wrote: "Here are my next books to read. Let me know which ones work:
[bookcover:Temperance's Trial: Part 1 of the Virtues and Valor Series|23..."Kimberly, I don't know yet what color(s) the team will be going with but Gatehaven would definitely work for green, Temperance's Trial should work for any of the three B's. Black, Blue, or Brown because of the author's last name and it should also work for green because of the main character's last name.
Hope this helps! :)
I'm not sure how we should do it this time. Since we know that only one of the remaining colors is duplicated, we could choose one color for two of us to read, and the other three could read a book for either red or white. We could also place one of the new color chosen in the same position as before, knowing we would only get a white peg for it. If we get two white pegs, we'll know that two of the remaining three locations are correct. If we happen to get a black peg, we'll know the correct location for one color. If we get one white peg and one black peg, we'll have more work to do. LOL
