Okay! Sounds good, the next couple days are gonna be super cold so hopefully I'll be able to curl up inside and get my book done this weekend!
Rita, since none of our colors were in the correct position last time, let's not go for red. Choose one of the other two colors, please. Thank you and welcome to our team!

Thanks for the welcome, Andrea. Looking forward to the challenge. :)
Knowing that none of the colors from the first guess were in the correct position, I figured it might help to put the red in the same spot, seeing that the white is now in a different location. If our second guess only receives black pegs, we'll be able to eliminate red as one of the colors.
Fabulous idea, Rita! I haven't played this game before, so the strategy part is a bit overwhelming. I'm glad someone else has it more figured out than I do.A question for the whole team:
When is your favorite time of day to read?
I like reading during commercials of Dallas Mavericks or Stars games (I'm a sports nut) and right before bed during that quiet time as most of the world around me is settling in to sleep. Lots of pages get read during that time for me.
Finished my book for the second guess:

Great job, Rita! I'm having to read slower this week because a proofreading job came up. I'm still trying to get good time in during the evenings to not hold up our guesses.
I finished my book for ORANGEBarefoot Summer by Denise Hunter
How it works: Main Male Character's last name, O'Reilly

Anyone else loving their book but having difficulty squeezing it in around work? I'm so close to finishing mine, but I have to proofread tonight instead of enjoying the ending of The Prayer Box. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow.
I finished my book,

I was thinking, depending on what we get for our answer once we submit our completed guess, what do you ladies think about all reading the same color for our next guess? That way we could either eliminate it or know if it's in the code and how many times too.
Sounds good to me. Just thinking...if we only receive black pegs, we can eliminate red, and all read a book for the color white.
We're just waiting on Kimberly. I pm'd her, to check on things, and she said she's enjoying her book and that she should be finished in a day or so.
Here is my post for Making Marion. The cover of my book is almost all yellow

Great review, Kimberly! That book sounds really interesting!!! :)

How are we doing it?"
Not yet, we are waiting on getting our guess answered. Depending on the answer, we might all read the same color - to either eliminate it or confirm how many of that color is in the code. If that's what we end up doing, which we probably will, do you ladies have a preference to which color we choose?

It depends on if we get any white or black pegs. I liked Rita's suggestion, "if we only receive black pegs, we can eliminate red, and all read a book for the color white."What do y'all think?
Now that we've received our answer for this round, what do y'all want to do for this one? I like the idea of reading all the same color, to either eliminate or confirm it.
I agree, Andrea. Since white has been in two locations and we have yet to receive a black peg, I think it might be a good idea for all of us to read a book for white. If we receive one or more black pegs, that would eliminate two locations and if we receive no pegs, white will be eliminated.
Okay. I'll read
by Lisa Wingate (author's last name works for white).Let me know if I need to change books.
I'm good with reading white. I'll make a tracking post below and place all our books in it, as they are posted here, then I'll go check my books and let you all know what I'll read for this guess. :)

Us all reading books for WHITE sounds great to me!I have a couple to choose from, I'll let you know when I decide which one I'm reading!
Haven't even started my book yet. I'm on a proofreading deadline, but I'll be done with that project in a day or two. Then I can read for this game again. Yay! I'll try to get extra time in to catch up.
Ooh, I'm looking forward to reading that one, Caitlyn! I really enjoyed Full Steam Ahead, so I'm sure I'll like the follow-up novella too. Glad you enjoyed it!
Ooh, that cover is gorgeous! Hope it's a great read. I'll be starting my book tonight. I turned in my proofreading job earlier this evening.
I know, I love the cover! It's also about time-travel, which I also love, so hoping I'll enjoy the book :)
You're reading about time-travel, and my book's a time-slip (part takes place in the past, but the main character's story takes place in the present). How awesome is it that we're both reading one for this round that deals with odd time jumps? So cool!
Another book that I love. Here is my review for Recipes for a Beautiful Life: A Memoir in Stories

That is really neat! I hope you are enjoying your book :)

Thanks, Megan. I am! But I have another editing job, so I'm not sure how quickly I can finish my leisure time book. I'm trying really hard, though!
