SYNOPSIS
Joe Hawkins, an Oxford University professor and former US State Department analyst, is desperate to find his missing younger brother, Sam. Sam has ties to a shadowy investment firm, and Joe is convinced the firm’s leadership is involved in Sam’s disappearance. Fraud, violence, and unexpected romance follow Joe as he searches for Sam, but an insidious network of corruption is aimed at exploiting gold and petroleum resources from Central Asia…and Joe is in the way.
