so i read this book in around 2017-2019. the girl that goes missing is named daisy and is under the age of ten. her mother is assumed to have killed her because she thinks that her daughter and her husband have more of a relationship than just daughter and father. a detective looks for her and his own son had commit suicide at age 12. in the end, a plot twist reveals she actually ran away with her teacher as her daughter.

i do not know the name of the author or anything about the title.
