Galadriel Coffeen | 5 comments Greeting! I'm looking for beta readers for a full manuscript, ~100K words. I can also send individual chapters, averaging 4-5K words.

Brian | 6 comments I have the prologue and first three chapters of a historical, geopolitical, detective-thriller that I would like feedback on.
A private Investigator is hired to investigate Nikola Tesla and a mysterious invention in 1899. His investigation ranges from NY to Chicago to Colorado. My manuscript is 56k+ of ~100k projected words , and I have a great alpha reader (video game designer with impeccable taste, and my cousin).
My intent is to get non-familial opinion at this stage, so I know if what I'm doing is working.

Brian | 6 comments My prologue and chapters are ~10k words. I'm sure I've missed other important details, I hope you would like to know more!

Harlyn Dalfnor (harlyndalfnor) | 79 comments Hey Tori.
I have a super natural YA that is about 65k words.

Here is the sypnosis.
Journals belonging to his mentally unstable mother unveil after Mr. Allen's death; his father, whose strictness results him leading a normal life. Joe, the seed of polar opposite parents gave in to the hauntings; setting his mind on the brink Mrs. Allen delved of feeding her obsession, till she breathed her last.
He embarks on an adventure in search of serpendalite alongside his students who share different views of paranormality: the three lovebirds.

Serpendalite is a mirror that grants its founders wish and or let them relive a time they so bad unconsciously want to. It got its name from Serpentine meaning hidden mysteries and Sodalite meaning truth.

I would like to hear your thoughts on the story line in general. I am yet to give it out to others, and I now want to hear others thoughts on it.
