Cover of the book depicts a teen boy and girl ‘caught in the act’ by a bobby (policeman with helmet) with very big ears, cartoonesk. Book (author) probably English or Irish. I can not recall much except that I found the book hilarious, a little rough as well. About a teenage boy coming of age and finding himself in all kind of funny situations. Language I recall like distinguishing between pigs and the villagers only because the latter stand on 2 legs...
Probably 25 years ago or more when I bought the book - now lost.
