Happy Ides of March! Or should it be "beware the Ides of March?" Hm. Either way, I hope you all are having a better day than poor Julius Caesar did. I feel like every post I write starts with a reference to time but in fairness, we're already halfway through March. I have no idea where time is going, lol.

What is everyone reading this week? Over the weekend, I finished Concrete Rose which I loved. If you've read The Hate U Give, this is a prequel, giving us Big Mav's story (he's Starr's father). It was great getting to see his character be fleshed out and developed. Now I'm working on an arc I grabbed off Netgalley (I promised myself I'd avoid that site but I failed - sigh) and will also probably be reading Capturing the Devil.

Have a great week, everyone!

Ashley (morwesong) | 59 comments I am currently reading Before She Disappeared. I have it checked out through CPL's Overdrive and only have a couple of days left on it, so I am frantically trying to get through it. It is pretty interesting so far.

I had a medical procedure last week that required sedation, and my anesthesiologist was chatting with me beforehand. We got to chatting about weight loss, and I mentioned that I was interested in intermittent fasting but wanted to make sure I was doing it in a medically safe way. She recommended Life in the Fasting Lane, so I picked that up to see if it is something I want to pursue.

Happy Monday, everyone! (Also, hoping my html is correct to show this image, because it is my favorite and I must share it somewhere every March 15th!)

Okay, I can't seem to get my funny Et tu, Brute? photo to be embedded in here, but you can see it here.

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I am currently reading Notorious RBG alternating with Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert. Next up is Kim Reaper, vol. 2 and City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert.
I come not to praise Caesar, but to bury him (or to hit him in the face with the pie I didn't get yesterday).
Julius Caesar was one of his plays that I read more than once for school (I just can't tell you which school or which class).

I am finishing The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires. If you like southern settings and Stephen King, you will like this book. I am also reading City of Girls.
