Lucy seems to have adjusted pretty well to San Antonio and seems to be happy with her assignment. Sean has made a lot of changes, quitting RFK, becoming a consultant and relocating with Lucy. What do you think of his sacrifices? Is he taking care of his needs?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I think he really loves Lucy and is willing to do anything to make their relationship work. Sean needs to make to most of this opportunity to be on his on professionally.

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments Sean is willing to do anything to be with Lucy. A lot of his job can be done at home with a computer, or traveling to a site to check out their system. At least with his job as a consultant, he is picking the jobs that he wants to do.

I agree with both of you but worry about him taking care of his own needs. Lucy gives him focus and purpose and he also needs to be professionally fulfilled. I’m staying tuned.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1205 comments Yes, I have the next book to start. I hope Sean and Lucy don't have major conflicts. She has enough at work!

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think that at some point Sean is going to get bored and possibly start working for RCK again. I don't think he'll leave Texas though. I have a feeling he may start up a branch there.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I think Sean is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I just hope his need for that doesn't wreck his relationship with Lucy.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I like Sean. I agree with Jonetta and Anita that he is an adrenaline junkie and needs to fulfill that need with his skills. It feels like he has the connections to make something happen now that Lucy is getting settled in her new position. It is a pleasant change to have the hero switch gears for the heroine.

That said, I'm sure Sean will do something to cause conflict in the future even though I don't want any trouble between the two. I like this couple.

I like them, too. It’s why I worry about Sean being fulfilled in his professional life.
