When I was young I had a book about a little girl, she had a ballet show to go to and a friend who had curly brown hair, an orange tutu and was called Honey. The main girl wore purple and had long blonde hair. Name might have been Rose or Rose something? The book had very beautiful illustrations and may have been part of a series about the two girls. The illustrations were quite soft, lots of pinks and purples, they were little girls maybe drawn with watercolours?

I think in the story they went to their ballet practice and performed at the end. She went to collect her friend first. The different books had different colour covers and it was a shorter, long book not traditional size. One cover is lilac, the one I remember is pale pink with darker pink writing and the girl is in the centre with the writing around it at the top. Cover reminds me of Usborne little ballerina book.

Quite short, no chapters. Probably for ages 5-8. I read it between 2006-2011 maybe? Any suggestions appreciated :)
