Loved The Sealwoman’s Gift by same author. This one is set in the Trossachs which is not far from where I live. Now want to visit again but will have to wait until lockdown is over as it’s in the next county.
Love the use of local folklore

This book is set in Stirling - loved the location as I worked there for many years so knew the setting.
Bit gruesome but fast paced. My first time reading this author and will read the rest of the series

Finished for my local book group’s early April discussion
Different style as the main character is dead and her story is told by an assortment of characters who knew her in different stages of her life.
Have heard the author speak about the book a few times and read some extracts so it was her voice I kept ‘hearing’ as I was reading
