Illustrated kid’s book where a spoiled blond prince claps his hands 3 times and is given anything he wants. I *think* he decides go see how peasants live and ends up on a farm.

He claps his hands and demands bread and butter? They make him harvest grain and bake bread then milk the cow to churn butter.

At the end his hands are so tired from working that he can’t clap them to ask for things. So instead he learns how to say please and thank you.

I think we had this book in the 80s and it may have been part of a book club subscription. Thanks!
