I know why wasn't the Horcrux killed. My sister suggested because it was in his head but Harry was but in his arm
I don’t know why. Then the plot would have been sooo different. It would be interesting then when Harry got to know there was a horcrux inside him and he killed it when he was 12. Also then probably the connection between Harry and Tom would not have happened on Order of the Pheonix.

How did Fred and George figure out that "I solemly swear that I am up to no good" and "Mishcheif Managed" opened/closed the marauders map?
Most plot holes you see online aren't actually plot holes in retrospect reading the books again. Many more come from the movies. But honestly biggest plot hole I found was the whole secret keeper thing with lily and James, (also some aspects of the marauders map, but I forgive most of these things with the earlier books cause they're much more kid-oriented and stuff like Ron sleeping with a dead guy isn't gonna be brought up), the problem is when they cause issues later in the series. Why didn't lily and James become their own secret keepers? Or did magic in that field improve drastically in 20 years?

In the 1st book, we see that Hermione has practiced spells at her home. Living in a muggle house and neighborhood, it goes unnoticed. Same at the Hogwarts Express.
If Basilisk venom can kill a horcrux, and Harry gets stabbed by it in the 2nd year. Technically, the horcrux inside him should have been killed.
