This is another long one. My aim is to get to chapter 3 today.

It's been a chapter a day for me. And I'm done with 3 so far. The story already feels so much more interesting than the last book and is flowing well too.
Tho I don't have anything much specific to say as of now.

Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply. I’ve been mad busy. I have kept reading though. I agree that this one is way more interesting. I think I just needed to get to know the characters more and it took a while in the last book.

It's alright. I haven't been much active here either.

How far have you read tho? So i know what pace to keep?

I’ve not gotten very far in the past few days. At chapter 11 right now. (view spoiler)[ I’m really enjoying the shifting relationships between all the characters. They’re maturing pretty quickly. Grace was redeemed a little by feeling bad about the bracelet and trying to free James but I just find her a bit irritating. My favourite part so far has been James and Cordelia setting up a nightly game to ask each other questions. (hide spoiler)]

I'm on chapter 6 i think. I have the time, but the focus and interest is just not there. I'll read more tonight and see if i can catch up soon.

I’ve been struggling to get much further over the past week. I don’t know why this series feels so much harder to read than any of the others. This might have to be where I give up and find another series to read. Are there any other series you’ve been planning on reading that you’d want to buddy read?

Okay good we both agree on ditching this series. I'm dnf-ing this book then!

I'll go through my books and let you know other books I'm interested in.
