Tasks:

1 Read a book with a weapon on the cover.
2 Read a book where somebody is assassinated.
3 Read a book where an assassin is one of the main characters.
4 Assassinations have been known to cause wars, most notably the First World War, but various civil wars have been precipitated by assassinations. Read a book where a war is a major plot element. The book does not have to be set during the war, but it must be an important part of the storyline.
5 It's a challenge to keep track of all the letters "s" in the word assassin. Read a book where the letter "s" occurs four times in the title.

Additional criteria:
At least one book must have been published prior to 1980 and at least one book post 2010. Please indicate when completing the tasks which ones qualify for these criteria.
