YA Fantasy Mystery. Man wins the devil's lottery where you can get everything you want for 24 hours, but then you die afterwards. Read around 2013.

Note: I'm a bit unsure about the genre, but I shot my best shot.
I read a book around 2013 from my local library, I hope you can help me with finding it by reading all of my memories from the book:


It’s about a man (let’s call him A) who in the middle of the night gets disturbed by another man (let’s call him D). This man says he’s won the devils lottery, where A can get everything he’s ever wanted, the thing is though that he afterwards will die. D works for the devil, and his mission is to give A whatever he wants + make sure that A doesn’t escape the devils lottery (meaning A doesn’t die).
A doesn’t want this and tries throughout the book to trick D and not die. I can’t really remember what happens in the middle, but at last he sits in a plane. He sees a lady whom reminds him of someone, but he doesn’t remember. Because he’s in a plane flying to another country, he’s in another time zone and because of that he doesn’t die. The lady, he thought he knew, comes up to him and congratulates him for tricking the devil.
D, is furious for not completing his missinon and the mysterious lady appears to be D’s boss/the devil (can’t remember). 
Anyways it’s a happy ending for A.

Laverken, is this book for adults or teens? What's the tone - e.g., suspenseful cat-and-mouse, funny at times?

How does the protagonist learn he's won the devil's lottery (e.g., devil's helper just appears in his bedroom while he's sleeping)?

What is his job? What does he want/ask for from the lottery?

I can’t remember the tone, and my guess would be that it would be a book for teens since I read it when I was 12 ish.
Though I could imagine it at times could be cat and mouse and funny.
Yep he just gets woken up by D. I don’t remember his job.
As far as I can remember he doesn’t wish for things to use but for things that can help him with somehow tricking the devil.

Also I forgot to add he only has got all his wishes for 24 hours and then he will die.
