So, here's where we all come and join to chat or rant about the books recommended. Would you like to blame someone(in a friendly manner) to recommend you a specific book or would you like to appreciate someone's choice?

Starting with, who all are excited for this challenge? I have to admit, the moment this idea of challenge popped in my mind, I was excited to see how this is going to play out and so I had kept it for 3 months to have ample of time for reading.

Yep this was a good idea for a challenge because my tbr never seems to get smaller. So naturally this challenge started and I added several books to my tbr.... :)

@Bhavya how does Letters to the Lost compare to her Cursebreaker series. I just started book three fyi.

I’ve read both!

I would say that they are both different genres.
As a fantasy, the Cursebreaker series is well written series. But it does have its drawbacks. I wouldn’t recommend the Cursebreaker series to someone not interested in fantasy and more specifically romance. Though it’s interesting and I enjoyed it, it may not be for everyone.

Letters to the Lost though, is excellent. It is very well written and one of the best books I’ve read in its genre. Even though it is categorised as a YA contemporary romance, I would recommend the book to even those not interested in the genre. It deals with much more than just romance, and talks about life issues in a thought provoking manner. I am personally not a fan of the contemporary romance genre, but this book is still one of my favourites! I think it deserves more love. :)

Thanks for the info. I find her writing style keeps me hooked on her series even when I dislike certain characters and you have to read from their pov in the Cursebreaker series.

Also book 2 made me see Rhen differently and I will see if book 3 makes me like him again.

I didn’t like Lia Mara either, she was very annoying. I still haven’t understood why I didn’t like her, I just got bored in her PoV.

I still live Rhen! I know he’s not a good person and he’s made mistakes but that’s what I love the most about him. I love well written morally grey characters.

Dune is one of my favorite sci-fi of ALL times! It's not a light book, yes, but it's a masterpiece. Curious to hear if you like it as well ^^

@Fabitha I haven't made progress on Dune for a bit here but I am enjoying it. Also I'm so glad you liked This is How you Lose the Time War. It kinda blew my mind when I read it because of how the authors would need to plan everything out to make it all come together at the end.
