So basically there's this girl (I think her name starts with "j"?) who has an amazing memory (like photo graphic memory) and is also very claustrophobic and has weak immune system along with a bunch of other problems. Her mother, who is a teacher, apparently died in an earthquake when going over to teach at a lecture, however she knows her mother didn't die because she remembered in the new footage when the earthquake happened that someone's brochure said that her mother's lecture had been cancelled, so she believes her mother was not at the building when the earthquake happened (this is important).
I am going to refer to main character as j
Her dad is about to get married in the beginning of the story, but her aunt who is rich (I think so at least) lives in another country (England or somewhere near there) and invites her over to stay at her manor/mansions, and she goes there, gets introduced to a bunch of people who are her friends now I guess. She also meets someone outside of her aunts manor, one dude name Bryan or Byron or something, I know for sure his name starts with a "b", and he was the love interest.
Then later, she finds out her aunt and everyone else living in her aunts manor/house is hiding the fact that they have a time machine, able to go back in time. they also tell her her mom is alive but stuck in the past and idk why they cant save her but the time machine is functional, so she prepares to go back in time and save her mom along with some other people/friends to help her.
She gets sent back in time to when there were kings and queens and eventually find her mom who is married to this evil dude. And the antagonist is bryon's mom who is friends or sisters or cousins with j's mom, I dunno its one of the above, but byron is actually good even though his mom is evil and bad. and it turns out byron knew j before because they were both from the past and j's "mom" took j from the past to the future a long time ago (which is why her immune system is crap), and bryon has been in love with her since or something.
Okay I remember a lot more but their not very important to the plot... I remember so many tiny details but I cannot remember the title nor the author
