Europe is very peculiar when it comes to handling personal data, which means that every time one loads a new website, the provider has to ask the user for permission to work with cookies, even for essential cookies, without which the page could not even be made available. It's annoying as hell but in the end gives us some kind of power of codecision who is getting which data from us. (I accept = Ich stimme zu)

He's Germany's first "Prince Charming". (I don't know if that's the show's name everywhere, it's "The Bachelor" but for gay men.)

That's actually what I assumed it was since we have cookie pop-ups too, so I wasn't too worried! Just thought it was hilarious πThe only German I know how to say is ich bin sehr mΓΌde, because when I was 21 I was in Vegas and my friend didn't want to go to bed because she was talking to a German guy she thought was cute so I made his friend teach me how to complain that I was tired π€£

Still no new task. :/I was hoping Kat's internet would work soon again but it doesn't look like.
It's 10pm over here, so I think I'm going to bed now, without something to read.... *sigh
It's working now! Here is your new task!Task 18 - 78. Read 6 books with alliteration in the title or author's name.
Books selected for this task need to have alliteration in either the title or author's names. There can be a small word, such as 'and', 'or' or 'to' between the alliterated words in the title. So books like Divided in Death or Spook Squad will work. And authors such as Lucy Lennox or Julie James would also work.
Completion Post Task 18 (6 books with alliteration in title or author's name)Book 1
Claw Marks & Card Games by Maz Maddox

Rating: 4 Stars
Review: Itβs been a while since I read the first book in this series but that didnβt stop me from getting right into this one and enjoying being back in Stallion Ridge. I love all the different shifters involved here and this book packed some serious heat
Book 2
Rebirth of His Omega by Crista Crown
160 Pages
How it qualifies: Alliteration in author's name, see above
Date: 4/20/2021
Rating: 3 Stars
Review: This was my favorite of the series thus far. The romance is still pretty formulaic, but there was also a lot of interesting background happenings that made up for it.
I might be able to cover a second, just none of the books I have to read this month qualify (of course) lol

How it Qualifies: title has double "S"s

Review: Nice little vignettes, each is a fully fleshed out tale, which (of course) ends in Lucy Felthouse's yummy erotica. The story about the gardener was my favorite.

I didnt and still dont like Nines family with the way they put on him all the time and dont give him the respect he deserves but at least he got better at standing up for himself
I loved the premis of this with the "practically re building" the cabin and the videos of what they up to but i still dont think its the best lucy Lennox ive read

Perfect! π₯°
I greatly enjoyed every moment of rereading this sweet romance. I so would love to go on vacation to Cadan's farm!
well that was easy - KC Wells just sent me the audio version of Finn's Fantasy, and since I beta'd that book it should definitely be an easy one.Seriously though - it's a great one if you're looking for something funny and really sexy. Best of the series so far IMHO.
my daughter and I are taking a girls overnight tomorrow :)we're going to Sag Harbor and staying in a super cute Inn, shopping, dining, and going to the beach
just mentioning it because I might not have as much time for reading/listening and if we get one of those 6 or 8 book tasks and anyone is wondering about taking on a 2nd book, feel free lol!

The Reluctant Husband by Eliot Grayson
168 Pages
How it qualifies: 3.98 Rating; 61 reviews
Date: 4/22/2021
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: Eliot Grayson has a unique way of taking seemingly irredeemable characters and just making you break for them. I mean, I cried multiple times for Tomβs hurt, and the first book ended with me being the one wanting to hurt him. But nobody could hurt Tom better than himself, and while it sometimes got frustrating the him and Mal wouldnβt just talk openly with one another, Iβm so very happy they eventually worked it out and ended up happily together.
Book 2
A Midwinter Prince by Harper Fox
248 Pages
How it qualifies: 3.92 rating; 106 Reviews
Date: 4/22/2021
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: Lovely writing, a heartbreakingly beautiful story, and some broken characters who find a way to be whole. After reading some reviews from book two I donβt think Iβm going to continue with the series but thatβs fine because I thought this one was just right all on its own.
Book 3
The Bones of Our Fathers by Elin Gregory
215 Pages
How it qualifies: 3.9 Rating, 69 Reviews
Date: 4/23/2021
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Review: I really enjoyed this one. The writing clicked with me, I loved all the small town characters, and while the romance was light, it was there and the chemistry was real. This would have definitely been a 4-4.5 Star read for me if it weren't for (view spoiler) Other than that, everything about this book worked for me, so still a solid read!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I have to read another one that qualifies for UNO so I added it. Janine, did any of the MM readers on your team find a MM book with "shoulder pads" in the text that you want to share? lol
Amanda wrote: "I have to read another one that qualifies for UNO so I added it. Janine, did any of the MM readers on your team find a MM book with "shoulder pads" in the text that you want to share? lol"
Sorry , it was one of the MF books that had it and i havent come across it anywhere
AMANDA .....ive found shoulder pads ...ive been through some " set in the 80s" books ..Its in Two Nick Nowak Novellas but you really need to read in order..im going to see if i still got bk 1 and check that
Edited..its also in Night Drop which is bk 1 in a fantastic series ..and to top it all its got really good points for SH
And if you win i totally want credited somewhere along the line ππ
Janeylou wrote: "Cant one of the rest of your team read one ..think theres a few floating round"The next highest reader on my team reads 7 books a month and she's only got time to finish the one she's working on and one more. Everyone else might do one more, but are probably done for the month.
Might check out Night Drop, although I've got decent points across the board this month so was saving any good books I found for next month so I wouldn't lose out since this whole year seems like it's going to be a constant search. But I will definitely credit you if it I do read it!
Im sorted as well ..trio its you to check us in but enjoy your weekend and dont worry about it being done in time , im sure we've all got something else we can be reading π
