Michaele | 6549 comments What if we try to combine them when possible, so for example, we could choose Charlie Cochrane for - 🌟 1. Each player reads a book by the same author, teams decide author - no pass for this task.

And either Thirds or Four Kings for this one?🌟 9. Each player reads a book in the same series, teams decide. No pass for this task.

It's not necessary of course, but it'd make choosing a little easier?

Michaele | 6549 comments 🌟 29. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.

Cops / Chefs / Firemen - I'd vote for cops here, lot's to choose from.

🌟 33. Read 6 books in the same sub-genre, teams decide.

MM is a subgenre, i think. Need to confirm - if mm works that's great, if not, I'd be fine with paranormal

🌟 49. Each teammate reads a book published in the same month and year, teams decide. No pass for this task.

* 2020 ? Month? - how about March 2020?

🌟 50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location.

Shall we go for UK for more book choices? I think the UK would be great!

Jeydon Marshall | 372 comments Completion Post β€”

Task 1: Option Two - Irish Character
The Druid Stone (Layers of the Otherworld, #1) by Heidi Belleau
Book: The Druid Stone
Pages: 278
Qualification: Tagged Irish Characters. Also mentioned in Blurb that MC is the descendent of Irish Druids.
Date Read: 3/16
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: I love any stories involving Fae, ancient myths, and magic and this story had all three. This story taking place in Ireland added to my enjoyment of it even more as I've read very few (if any, that I can recall) stories set in Ireland despite it being a location full of a rich history of myths and lores. This is a very action packed and fast paced book but it also has fantastic romance between the two main characters to help balance things out. If you're a fan of Urban Fantasy I would highly suggest giving this one a chance.

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 2042 comments my preference is Charlie Cochet as I own most of her book. and on ku. four kings is good. cops/law enforcement open up more books like FBI and Marshals. Uk for location, March of 2020.

Agreed. I think with anything year related, whichever is the most recent will be the best. I’m working on a list now with what seems to be the team’s decisions and then it can be up to discussion if there’s anything we want to change/move around.

Jeydon Marshall | 372 comments I think that’s everything! Of course, as mentioned, there’s still a few that we need to make a decision on. Let me know if there’s anything I listed as a decision that we all want changed/swapped around.

Once we all give a thumbs up of approval I’ll clean it up a bit and put it in the info on the first page so it can be easily referenced.

message 120: by Jeydon (new)

Jeydon Marshall | 372 comments Also, if I listed a decision but stated it needs team approval then I’m agreeable to the decision. I just want to make sure anyone who didn’t leave their opinion on that particular task gets the chance to as I know there’s some that only Laks got the chance to make a suggestion for.

Roger - president of NBR United - (roger_presidentofnbrunited) | 2042 comments Laks, I don't think there is agreement on Charlie Cochrane being the Author for task 1. For the other series Scoring Chaces Breakaway. Alice Winters, Charlie Cochet, Eli Easton

My head hurt a bit with the similar names between Charlie Cochrane and Charlie Cochet so maybe Laks got them mixed up.

I listed Charlie Cochet as author #1 since we agreed on one of her series for a series task and she has a TON of books to choose from including some on Kindle Unlimited (which will be good for Laks and me as I do get a ton through there as well).

Jeydon Marshall | 372 comments I would be good with Eli Easton as another author decision. I know How to Howl at the Moon at minimum is on KU and usually authors have a few on there if they do participate in it.

Is there anything other than swapping around some authors/series that you would want to change decision wise for the tasks?

Good idea πŸ‘ I’ll swap Cops out for Law Enforcement and Lily Morton as one of the authors.

For Task 73, we’ll have to choose an author we can see ourselves reading 1500 pages by. So definitely one who has a lot of works currently available. I think Charlie Cochet could work for this as she has a ton.

MountainKat | 31602 comments Here is your next task!

Task 2 - 3. Each player reads a book by a new to you author - no pass for this task.

To qualify for this task, the selected books must be written by a new to you author. (Not a team decision.) You can have other books on your shelf by the selected author, but only the book you read for this task can be marked as read. Please make sure you have the read book on your shelves, marked as read and ideally rated when posting your completion! Also, please include a link to your read shelf in your completion post, even better if it a link to your read shelf searching for the author. If your profile is private, you will need to either friend me or open your profile for the duration of this task so that I can confirm your books. 😊

Michaele | 6549 comments Here's my feedback, but I'm pretty flexible if others have strong opinions :)

I'm happy with blue for task 52

I don't have a strong opinion on mountains or beach - I'll go with what y'all want.

🌟 73. Read a minimum of 1500 pages in books by the same author, teams decide author.

Is Eli Easton an option for this one? Sorry I'm getting a little confused :) I'd be happy with Easton.

I'm fine with M for task 75

🌟 82. Each teammate reads a different book from the same series.
Decision: Magic Emporium, - A multi-author series that can be read in any order. - Is this the one where Scoring Chances is an option? I'd rather do that if possible.

Car is great for task 88.

🌟 90. Each member reads a book published in sequential months, i.e. June, July, August and September 2019. Teams decide which months. No pass for this task.
Undecided: Maybe January, February, March, April? There’s usually a ton of new book releases at the beginning of years. - This work for me.
