Completion Post βTask 1: Option Two - Irish Character
Book: The Druid Stone
Pages: 278
Qualification: Tagged Irish Characters. Also mentioned in Blurb that MC is the descendent of Irish Druids.
Date Read: 3/16
Rating: 4 Stars
Review: I love any stories involving Fae, ancient myths, and magic and this story had all three. This story taking place in Ireland added to my enjoyment of it even more as I've read very few (if any, that I can recall) stories set in Ireland despite it being a location full of a rich history of myths and lores. This is a very action packed and fast paced book but it also has fantastic romance between the two main characters to help balance things out. If you're a fan of Urban Fantasy I would highly suggest giving this one a chance.
my preference is Charlie Cochet as I own most of her book. and on ku. four kings is good. cops/law enforcement open up more books like FBI and Marshals. Uk for location, March of 2020.
Jeydon wrote: "Just submitted our completion of task 1! About to go through everyoneβs answers now."Thanks Jeydon!
π 72. Read 4 books published in the decade of a teammate's birth, team decides which teammate.I say we pick Jeydon's it'll be the easiest.
π 58. Read 6 books published in the year one of the teammates joined RRRC, teams decide which teammate. How about 2020 for this one?
Michaele wrote: "π 58. Read 6 books published in the year one of the teammates joined RRRC, teams decide which teammate. How about 2020 for this one?"
Agreed. I think with anything year related, whichever is the most recent will be the best. Iβm working on a list now with what seems to be the teamβs decisions and then it can be up to discussion if thereβs anything we want to change/move around.
Michaele wrote: "π 72. Read 4 books published in the decade of a teammate's birth, team decides which teammate.I say we pick Jeydon's it'll be the easiest."
Good. The recent one, the better

I think thatβs everything! Of course, as mentioned, thereβs still a few that we need to make a decision on. Let me know if thereβs anything I listed as a decision that we all want changed/swapped around. Once we all give a thumbs up of approval Iβll clean it up a bit and put it in the info on the first page so it can be easily referenced.
Also, if I listed a decision but stated it needs team approval then Iβm agreeable to the decision. I just want to make sure anyone who didnβt leave their opinion on that particular task gets the chance to as I know thereβs some that only Laks got the chance to make a suggestion for.
Laks, I don't think there is agreement on Charlie Cochrane being the Author for task 1. For the other series Scoring Chaces Breakaway. Alice Winters, Charlie Cochet, Eli Easton
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "Laks, I don't think there is agreement on Charlie Cochrane being the Author for task 1. For the other series Scoring Chaces Breakaway. Alice Winters, [author:Charl..."My head hurt a bit with the similar names between Charlie Cochrane and Charlie Cochet so maybe Laks got them mixed up.
I listed Charlie Cochet as author #1 since we agreed on one of her series for a series task and she has a TON of books to choose from including some on Kindle Unlimited (which will be good for Laks and me as I do get a ton through there as well).
I would be good with Eli Easton as another author decision. I know How to Howl at the Moon at minimum is on KU and usually authors have a few on there if they do participate in it.
blue work for me though I hope we never receive that category as I hate color cover finding. for four different books in series, the breakaway series is on KU and I know at least two of us have read at least some of that series. but I am sure I can Find books in magic emporeum that I would like to read! M is good for letter!
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "All Authors and books in 121 are on ku which I use but I own a lot of books out right also."Sounds good! Weβll see what Michaele and Laks think of those suggestions.
Is there anything other than swapping around some authors/series that you would want to change decision wise for the tasks?
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "blue work for me though I hope we never receive that category as I hate color cover finding."Oh I know. Luckily thereβs some M/M romance lists for some colors. I know for sure thereβs one for blue.
I like Eli Easton, Alice winters and scoring chances series. Good choicesAlso wolf on cover is good. Didnt think of thatπ
Magic Emporium series is a good option. I will check if they are available in KU
I think Laks suggested them but Iβd also be down with either of these two authors:Lisa Henry
Lily Morton
Laks wrote: "I like Eli Easton, Alice winters and scoring chances series. Good choicesAlso wolf on cover is good. Didnt think of thatπ

Confirming for you that the entire series is on KU! Thatβs where I get them through π
Getting ready for bed on my side of the world but please feel free to discuss things further and Iβll catch up with you all tomorrow.
Jeydon wrote: "Getting ready for bed on my side of the world but please feel free to discuss things further and Iβll catch up with you all tomorrow."Have a good night everyone! π we have a lockdown on most of the listed tasks π
like I suggested using law enforcement in place of cops opens more books like FBI Agents and U.S. Marshalls and Agencies Like in the the T.H.I.R.D.S series
Your posts all looked good and I have you on the list to get your next task tomorrow. If I get up early enough (I usually only get up early for Disneyland and Christmas, but since getting the vaccine will make it easier to go to Disneyland...), I will post your task then - otherwise it will be once I get home. π
MountainKat wrote: "Your posts all looked good and I have you on the list to get your next task tomorrow. If I get up early enough (I usually only get up early for Disneyland and Christmas, but since getting the vacci..."Thank you Kat π Whatever is easier for you !
Good luck with the vaccine. Take it easy for tomorrow..π
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "like I suggested using law enforcement in place of cops opens more books like FBI Agents and U.S. Marshalls and Agencies Like in the the T.H.I.R.D.S series"Good idea π Iβll swap Cops out for Law Enforcement and Lily Morton as one of the authors.
For Task 73, weβll have to choose an author we can see ourselves reading 1500 pages by. So definitely one who has a lot of works currently available. I think Charlie Cochet could work for this as she has a ton.
MountainKat wrote: "Your posts all looked good and I have you on the list to get your next task tomorrow. If I get up early enough (I usually only get up early for Disneyland and Christmas, but since getting the vacci..."Too bad you arenβt getting your vaccine AT Disneyland π But yes, I definitely know the feeling of the vaccine being one step closer to being able to go to Disney again. Good luck! I hope it goes well for you. Make sure to stay hydrated and rest as needed π
Iβm off to sleep now, just wanted to hop on after I got ready for bed to see if you all had discussed any more.
ππHere are 2 lists for - Romance List from GR Listopia with less than 100 books on it.
MM small shifters -
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/4...
Best Gay domestic discipline-
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/4...
Few books in both lists are available in KU.
Here is your next task!Task 2 - 3. Each player reads a book by a new to you author - no pass for this task.
To qualify for this task, the selected books must be written by a new to you author. (Not a team decision.) You can have other books on your shelf by the selected author, but only the book you read for this task can be marked as read. Please make sure you have the read book on your shelves, marked as read and ideally rated when posting your completion! Also, please include a link to your read shelf in your completion post, even better if it a link to your read shelf searching for the author. If your profile is private, you will need to either friend me or open your profile for the duration of this task so that I can confirm your books. π

Here's my feedback, but I'm pretty flexible if others have strong opinions :)I'm happy with blue for task 52
I don't have a strong opinion on mountains or beach - I'll go with what y'all want.
π 73. Read a minimum of 1500 pages in books by the same author, teams decide author.
Is Eli Easton an option for this one? Sorry I'm getting a little confused :) I'd be happy with Easton.
I'm fine with M for task 75
π 82. Each teammate reads a different book from the same series.
Decision: Magic Emporium, - A multi-author series that can be read in any order. - Is this the one where Scoring Chances is an option? I'd rather do that if possible.
Car is great for task 88.
π 90. Each member reads a book published in sequential months, i.e. June, July, August and September 2019. Teams decide which months. No pass for this task.
Undecided: Maybe January, February, March, April? Thereβs usually a ton of new book releases at the beginning of years. - This work for me.

And either Thirds or Four Kings for this one?π 9. Each player reads a book in the same series, teams decide. No pass for this task.
It's not necessary of course, but it'd make choosing a little easier?
